This Privacy Policy tells you about CodeMax IT Solutions policies, and practices for the collection, use, processing, storage, and transfer of information that it collects, and also provides the context, and purpose of collecting such information. The term We, Our Company, The Company are used below to address CodeMax IT Solutions Private Limited in the policy, and where we used the term “you” in the policy we assume you are an individual. CodeMax IT Solutions Private Limited is a company that deals with FinTech Solutions, Cybersecurity, and Software development. We have been registered as a company since 2016, and have our registered office in Goa. Our major clients are based in  Europe, Israel, and the USA. Our head office is located in Goa, at Office No. A - 201, 202, 2nd Floor, Asian Costa Pinnacle, Behind Bank of India, Fatorda, Goa - 403602.

2. Definitions
  • Personal Data - Personal data means, data about a living person, who can be identified from those data.

  • Data Controller - A legal, or natural person, an agency, a public authority, or any other body, who alone, or when joined with others, determines the purposes of any personal data, and the means of processing it.

  • Data Processor - A legal, or a natural person, agency, public authority, or any other body who processes personal data on behalf of a data controller.

  • Data Subject - The data subject is any living individual, or organization who is availing our services, or job applicants who apply to the company for employment.

  • Client- Any individual, company, or organization which is availing the services of the company currently, is a Client.

3. What information do we collect?
Information which we collect can be categorized into two types:
Client's Information: 
  • In the case of clients who are availing the services of the company, the following information is collected.

  • Name of the company/organization.

  • Owner's name.

  • Official email Id, and contact details of the individual who is representing the company.

Job Applicant's and Potential Employees' Information: 
  • The career option on the official website of the company is used by job applicants to view and apply for job positions published by the company. 

  • Personal Information of job applicants, collected in the interactions with Job Applicants context, is collected from Original Sources, and Third-Party Sources (such as LinkedIn and Indeed Career Builders), as well as from your prior employees, educational institutions you attended, and government agencies.

  • During the recruitment process, the company collects the information which includes financial details, present employment status of the candidate, prior work experience, education details, and government-provided documents for identification.

4. Why do we collect data? 
The company collects data for various purposes:
  •  To provide and maintain our services.

  •  To keep records of our existing clients.

  •  To maintain the records of our clients, in order to maintain business relationships with them.

  •  To have a fair idea about the applicant, with regards to his/her background, education and career history, technical skills, and knowledge, and thus evaluate if the applicant is a right fit for the position in the context of recruitment. 

  • To use the records of job applicants, in order to notify them for future job positions which the company has.

  • To fulfill legal or regulatory requirements set by the government.

5. How do we store your data?

We may store your data manually or electronically. Most of our data is stored and maintained by third-party service providers, who provide cloud-based services to the company. Most of our data is electronically transferred to such cloud-based service providers. If you have reason to believe that your data with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us through our email address

6. Retention

We shall retain your Personal Information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s), for which it was obtained, and consistent with applicable law. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

  • The length of time we have had an ongoing relationship with you, and use our services;

  • Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions, for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or

  • Whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).

The retention period, in the case of a job applicant, is based on a number of criterions such as:

  • The duration of the application process;

  • As long as we have an ongoing working relationship with you;

  • As required by a legal obligation to which we are subject;

  • As advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation, or regulatory investigations). 7. What are your data protection rights?

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Our Company aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data. Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following rights:

The right to access - You have the right to request Our Company copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification - You have the right to request that, Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The company presently does not have a cookie policy in place, as the company does not collect any form of data through cookies.

9. Minors/Children’s Privacy

No services of CodeMax are directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under eighteen (18).

10. Security

CodeMax uses reasonable, and appropriate technical and organizational security measures, to protect Personal Information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. 11. Sensitive information

Except as noted in specific contexts, we do not collect, and ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, any sensitive information (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background or trade union membership)  to us.

12. Sale of personal information

CodeMax does not sell Personal Information collected in any Context under this Privacy Policy.

13. Updating our Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify of any change by notifying our users, and clients through our website prior to any changes of privacy policy. This Privacy Policy will be reviewed from time to time, and will be changed accordingly.
